Publishing books or reports

Further information

Search the UWA Research Repository

There are several things to consider when publishing books, reports and other printed material.

ISBN information

The ISBN is a unique code for the identification of printed books, pamphlets, microform publications, software and multimedia kits containing printed material.

The 13-digit number is used whenever information on these products needs to be recorded or communicated, as it identifies the title, publisher, binding and edition.

Any books or reports published within UWA require an ISBN. The UWA Publications Unit has authority to allocate ISBNs for UWA.
