Enhanced Service for Inter-library loan and Document Delivery from 3rd December, 2007
More streamlined access for users of this service will become available with the implementation of the new Get It service to be available from 3rd December 2007.
- Get It will now offer the convenience of having articles delivered to users on their own desktop via electronic delivery as pdf documents.
- Automatic registration for the majority of users. Users will sign in to new and enhanced request forms with their Campus Card details.
- Users will be able to perform their own searching of selected library catalogues with the Search & Request Form and information returned will be entered automatically into the Request Item Form.
- Users will be able to monitor the progress of their requests with a ‘status’ message which will change as requests are processed.
