Students and staff from participating Australian university libraries can apply to register as a borrower under the University Library Australia national borrowing scheme for staff and students, at the UWA Library. The scheme operates at the discretion of the loaning University Library and local restrictions may apply.

Registration requirements

A photo ID which shows proof of current University enrolment or employment is required e.g. Student or Staff card from home institution.

All Library members are subject to the UWA Library rules and ULA reciprocal members have the same borrowing privileges as UWA undergraduates with the following special conditions:

  • Access to online resources is only available on a 'walk-in' basis subject to individual database licence requirements
  • Requests for reference or research assistance should be directed to Librarians at the home institution

Note that the expiry date for all registrations is the 28th of February of the year following registration.
