If you receive a fine from the UWA Library there are several ways you can arrange payment:

In person using EFTPOS

To pay in person by EFTPOS, go to the Inquiry Desk of any of the libraries with an EFTPOS terminal. The Library accepts debit card, Visa and MasterCard but not cash or cheques. You can pay up to fifteen minutes before the Library's closing time. Following payment your borrowing privileges will be restored immediately.

EFTPOS facilities are located in the following libraries:

In person using cash or cheque

To pay by cash or cheque, take your fine notice to:

  • The Copying Services office on the ground floor of the Reid Library between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday
    or
  • The Cashier in Student Administration between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

Your borrowing privileges will be restored when you present your receipt to the Inquiry desk at the Library

By telephone

To pay over the phone with Visa or MasterCard, contact one of the following libraries up to fifteen minutes before closing time:

Following payment your borrowing privileges will be restored immediately

By mail

To mail your payment, post your invoice and cheque made payable to the University of Western Australia to:

A receipt will be sent out to you and your borrowing privileges will be restored when you present your receipt to the Inquiry desk at the Library
