The request service

All borrowers who are eligible to place requests may have up to 10 requests in progress (special conditions apply for regional borrowers).

You can request items using the Library catalogue. Requests can be placed at a Library computer and also when connecting remotely. Requested items are due one week from the date of the request. By checking your patron record at My Library Loans you will see as soon as the item is available for you to collect or wait to receive an email notice the day after it has been returned for you.

Requests may be placed on items that are:

  • on loan
  • on display
  • at the bindery
  • in process
  • on the hold shelf

Items available for request will usually display a due date or have a status other than AVAILABLE. Requested items are normally due one week from the date of request.
