Digital Literacy

Digital literacy is the ability to navigate, evaluate, utilise, share and create content using information and communication technologies (ICT).

Digital literate individuals can:

  • effectively achieve in an environment increasing reliant on ICT
  • better achieve teaching and learning goals/objectives
  • better prepare themselves to transition into working life

Online Training

UWA has purchased a license to access online training from a company called Virtual Training Company (VTC).  VTC offer over 1,000 different courses ranging from Project Management to CAD. A full list of available VTC courses is available. 

How do I access VTC?

To access VTC you will need to enter the following credentials:

  • Username: uwalearn
  • Password: uwa1913

Login to VTC

Who can access VTC?

Access is available to all currently enrolled students provided they are accessing the service from the UWA network (on campus or off-campus via UniHall or UniConnect).
