Libraries Australia Document Delivery (LADD)

UWA Library entry in the ILRS Directory provides policies and further information.

Other libraries

UWA Library prefers to receive requests via the Libraries Australia Document Delivery (LADD) service.

However, for those libraries which do not use this system but wish to borrow or obtain copies of material from the Library they may do so by following the procedure outlined below.

  1. Locate the item in OneSearch and note its call number.
  2. Complete and submit the online document delivery request form. Each request must be entered on a separate form and full details supplied with each request.
  3. Wait for email confirmation that the requested item can be supplied.
  4. Follow payment instructions as outlined in the confirmation email.

  • All requests must be prepaid, either by credit card or IFLA vouchers before they will be supplied. Credit card is preferred as sending IFLA vouchers will delay the supplying time.
  • If requesting a rush item (within 24 hours) pre-payment must be by credit card.
  • Licensing restrictions mean that some online materials are not available for document delivery.

Charges for Australian libraries are based on current LADD agreements and can be located in our entry on ILRS.

Charges for overseas libraries are 1.5 IFLA voucher (or AUD$16.50) for a scanned PDF delivered by email or post and 4 IFLA vouchers (or AUD$45) for a loan.

UWA theses

UWA theses are not available for loan but may be purchased.
