Install a printer driver in Windows

This page will guide you through adding a printer driver to your system. This will allow you to install a Library printer from SNAP.

  1. Drivers are available for download from the Printer List.
  2. Save the file to a location on your PC. Note this location.

  3. When the download completes click Open folder.

  4. Double click the downloaded file. Click Run.

  5. Verify the extraction location. If it is not the appropriate location Browse to the appropriate one. Click Unzip.

  6. Click Start.
  7. Click Control Panel.
  8. Click Printers.
  9. Right click the white space (i.e. somewhere in the window, not on an existing printer) and select Server Properties.

  10. Click the Drivers tab at the top of the window. Click Add.

  11. Select the CPU type x86.

  12. A driver selection window will open. Click Have Disk.

  13. Type the location of the extracted files (as noted down in Step 5).

  14. If multiple drivers are available in the selected folder, select the type of printer the drive is for. Click Next.

  15. Click Finish.

Printer drivers should now be installed and ready for use with SNAP printers.
