Browsing contents of a floppy disk on the Library computers
To view the contents of a floppy disk within Internet Explorer:
- Click on the File menu
- Select Open.
- Click the Browse button
If you wish to view all of the files saved to the floppy disk
- Click on the drop down menu arrow in the "File of Type" box. .
- Select "All files (*.*)
The complete list of files on the disk should now be shown
Opening a file from floppy disk on the Library computers
To Open a document saved on floppy disk:
- Double click on the required file in the browse window.
- The file will now appear in the Open dialog box.
- Click OK
Printing from a floppy disk on the Library computers
To Print a document saved on floppy disk:
- Open the required document as shown above
- Click on the File menu
- Select Print
- Click OK
- Remember which Library computer you are printing from (look at the top left hand corner of the computer screen. eg n-bus)
- Using your Campus Card, print required document from a Library print station
