EndNote X1.0.1
The latest version of EndNote with the latest patch is compatible with Windows 2000, XP and Vista. It is installed on all Library computers and is the version of EndNote currently available from UWA.

EndNote 9.0.1
There are some minor compatibility issues with Microsoft Vista. However EndNote 9 libraries are directly compatible with EndNote X1.
EndNote 7 and earlier versions
The makers of EndNote recommend that you upgrade to EndNote X1. Please see the Important Information for EndNote 7 Users on our EndNote home page.
EndNote Web - is a 'cut down' version of EndNote. The UWA Library does not currently support EndNote Web.

Upgrading to EndNote X1.0.1 from an earlier version.
If you have previously used EndNote check the What's new in EndNote X1 tutorial. It is recommended that you uninstall earlier versions of EndNote before upgrading but first back up any libraries, styles, import filters or connection files. If you are currently working on a Word document using your EndNote library you should unformat the document before upgrading to EndNote X1.
