Article Finder allows you to check whether a particular journal article is available in an online resource via the UWA Library.

 Download this guide

Access Article Finder here or via the 'Find journal articles' tab on the UWA Library web site.

Type what you know about the article into the form (see below for an example). At the very least you must enter either the journal title or the ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) for Article Finder to work. Click on the Go button.

Sometimes a "Multiple titles located" screen may open that requires you to choose the particular journal you want to access. This may be because there are a number of journal titles with a similar name. Choose the journal you need and click on the Go Button.

A Find it @ UWA screen will open. Click on the Go button which will take you to the online resource which holds the article. The article may be available from more than one resource.

Find it

Article Finder will only locate articles that are available online. If you are unable to find the article please check the UWA Library catalogue. The article may be available in the Library's print collections. Make sure you search for the journal title, not the article title.

If UWA Library does not hold the item either electronically or in print you can link to and submit a request to the Library's document delivery service Get It! This service in only available to UWA Staff, Postgraduate and Honours students.

For more information about Article Finder or the Find It @ UWA service contact a Librarian in you subject Library or email using the Ask a Librarian service.
