This starting point sets you on the path to develop your information skills. The University Library offers information literacy guides and training, both online and in a face-to-face environment.

The Information Literacy Strategic Directions Statement identifies the guiding principles for information literacy at UWA Library, the rationale that lies behind these principles, and sets out some brief points that identify how these principles can be taken forward.

    How the Library can assist UWA academics and students develop information literacy skills.
  • InfoPathways
    This is an introductory level, online course. You will learn how to find the information you need for your studies at university.
  • Online courses
    The Library provides many online information literacy sessions that have been designed in partnership with unit and course coordinators.
