EndNote calls Reference styles Output Styles as this describes the style in which the EndNote software outputs your references.

Which style to use?

Please check the preferred style of your Faculty,  School, supervisor or  lecturer. For more information on the various styles see the Managing your references section of the Library guides page.

Reference styles

The major styles used at UWA can be downloaded from the table below. Some of these styles come as part of the EndNote software. However the EndNote versions of these styles are sometimes not complete when citing electronic sources. We recommend that you download these UWA versions of the styles for use with your Library.   Styles for specific journals can be found either in your EndNote styles folder or can be downloaded from the EndNote site.

Please review the help section before downloading these files.
