EndNote is referencing software which enables you to create a database of references from your readings which can then be organised, edited and converted into a formatted bibliography in many different styles, such as Harvard, APA, or Vancouver.
The Library has upgraded to EndNote X1.0.1 which is available on all Library computers and supported by the Library. We recommend that you upgrade to EndNote X1.0.1 unless you are completing your thesis. The Library will continue to provide support for EndNote 9 but can only offer limited support for earlier versions of EndNote. Please be aware that EndNote X1.0.1 is the recommended version for use with Vista and Office 2007 which are installed on all Library computers.

- There has been a change to the EndNote connection file for the UWA Library catalogue. If you use this connection file you should download the new version from the 'Filters and connection files for selected library catalogues' link below.
- EndNote 7 users should check the information at 'Hardware, systems and compatibility' and 'Word versions compatibility' before upgrading to EndNote X1.0.1 or opening an EndNote 7 or earlier library on our computers.
