The Rare Book Collection contains more than 8,000 volumes. They cover a wide range of subjects, but are particularly strong in European history, literature and theology of the medieval and Early Modern periods. A significant number of the books in the collection were donated by the Friends of the Library.
For access to items in the Rare Book Collection in the evenings and at the weekends, you must make prior arrangements with the Manager of the Scholars' Centre.
