As part of the University's procedures for the approval of new courses and units departments are required to submit a completed Library Consultation Form [PDF; 82K] with the documentation that is submitted to the Faculty Board.
As soon as it is possible to identify the content of a proposed new unit or honours course in sufficient detail to assess the adequacy of Library holdings the proposer must submit the Library Consultation Form to the Library together with an outline of the proposed content of the new unit or course.
